Tässä on Rippe. Rippe on edesmenneen ystäväni, sammakkoprofessori Taisto Heikkisen lesken Sofian suomenpystykorva. Lupasin aikoinaan Taistolle, kun he joutuivat luopumaan pystykorvastaan sen sairauden vuoksi, että etsin heille uuden koiran. Taisto menehtyi nopeasti edenneeseen sairauteen 2011 ja koira jäi hankkimatta. Vuonna 2012 toin Sofian luvalla Ripen sen uuteen kotiin. Edellisen kerran näimme Ripen 2013 ja meni näin monta vuotta siitä kun viimeksi kävimme Sofian luona. Rippe muisti ja juoksi suoraan autolle ja vatsarapsulle. Mikä ihana jälleennäkeminen ja kuinka tärkeä Rippe on muutoin yksin syrjässä asuvan Sofian elämässä.
