do you have trouble saying, ‘i’m sorry’?
for years, i looked at those two words as a sign of weakness and defeat. when i first starting dating tim, i was shocked by how he handled arguments. he’d really take the time to listen to my perspective and he had no problem telling me when he was sorry. what i learned is that a genuine apology is not the same thing as saying, “you’re completely right in this situation.” it’s not about winning or losing. an apology means you value the relationship more than your ego. you realize you’ve crossed the line. it takes psychological strength to see someone else’s perspective and courage to own up to your hurtful actions, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
a few days ago, i was having a conversation with my mom and blurted out something i didn’t mean. i tried to rationalize why i said it, but deep down i knew it wasn’t right. so i decided to own it. i genuinely apologized to her and said i was sorry.
relationships take real work and you gotta put in the effort. we’re passionate human beings and everyone makes mistakes. at the end of the day, it’s really best to LISTEN to other people’s feelings and THINK before you speak. be mindful in all that you do. be aware of all that you say. words you choose can only be forgiven, not forgotten.

homemade noodles are like most things. you don’t realize how amazing they are until you try them. they have a flavor and texture so much better than store-bought pasta. once you’ve had them, there’s no going back haha! my mom had a hand-crank pasta machine and we’d have so much fun watching her make them. she’d set them all over the kitchen counter to dry out for the evening and we’d have homemade pasta the next night for dinner. so good!

Lateral Bear Crawl Push Up: move lateral in a bear crawl position. Keep your knees off the ground as you take one step to the side hop your feet back and perform a push up! Drop to your knees for the push up if needed! .

What is an EMOM? It stands for Every Minute On The Minute! So, set your timer for 12 minutes! For minutes 1,3,5,7,9, and 11 you will perform 5 Squat Curl Presses. YOU WILL THEN REST UNTIL THE NEXT MINUTE STARTS! Which will be an EVEN minute. For the even minutes perform mountain climbers for the FULL 60 seconds!
