I vividly remember this day as if it was yesterday but somehow my youngest child is almost #fivemonthsold I was induced at 39 weeks because of a kidney stone and stent that was placed at 29 weeks. I was started on Pitocin at 9am on January 3 and my sweet Dempsey Gray made his arrival with the help of an epidural and just ONE push at 5pm sharp! My last delivery was my easiest by far but the most anxiety ridden. Ignorance is truly bliss in labor because once you know what to expect, you stress about it. I was a mess leading up to the epidural but it hurt a whole lot less than feeling a watermelon come through a garden hose! What was your birth story like? Did you have anxiety about delivery? ✨

These two are my everything • I got this picture last night while I was in kickboxing class & not only did it make me smile but it also reminded me of the phrase “Team Work Makes the Dream Work” • Ladies, all I can say is if you’re single right now... please PLEASE don’t settle. I remember wanting a boyfriend for the longest time (ask my friends) All I wanted was to feel loved & special. I waited 22 + years before I got my first boyfriend and that was the man I married. • Now 3.5 years later, I can’t help but look back and see God’s hand orchestrating everything. He protected my heart SO many times I lose count. • Children are the most beautiful gift but they take work. And honestly I cannot imagine doing this whole “parent thing” without you babe! ♥️
