Продолжая тему славянской мифологии в своих постах хочу немного рассказать об этом существе - дух зла, неудачи, символ горя. Относительно облика Лиха определенности нет — это либо одноглазый великан, либо высокая худая женщина с одним глазом посреди лба. Лихо означало беду — оно привязывалось к человеку, садилось к нему на шею и мешало ему жить. Прогнать Лихо можно силой воли. Так что друзья, не впадайте в уныние, не допускайте грусти поглотить вас. Last night I learned Michael Ondaatje once wrote 47 short stories in one year. 21 were published. Impressed doesn’t even begin to describe my reaction. - Decided when this book is turned into my editor in September I will be spending a good amount of time returning to pitching shorts to outlets. - It’s so easy to get caught up in the fun of creating and neglect the hard (boring) work of pitching. But there’s so much value in it and so much reward when we’re published. - Most notably the friends we make because they’ve seen our work (shout out to all my friends here because of my work on @elephantjournal last year - love you all ❤️) - So that’s me. What are you up to/ thinking about?
