This was my favourite temple in Kyoto. If I had to choose one place or thing to see, hands down, it would be the Golden Temple. Thank you so much Nagahama for inviting me to your city to experience all that it has to offer. ♥️ Most people don’t know that I studied abroad in high school in Shiga prefecture and going back to this place was very nostalgic and emotional for me. This was the Japan I knew and loved. . Escaping the city and going back to the traditional and less hectic side of Japan has cleared my mind-opening up more doors for travel opportunities and excitement in my life! I learned so much in just a couple days! . The people of Nagahama were so kind, passionate, and welcoming. It made me consider moving there one day! . Who knows!
