WEARING FUR IS WRONG Repost from @a_lallie_ - #FurTrapping _ Don’t worry you won’t see this #Coyote get killed in this video although that’s sadly what happened after . _ I’m just sharing one of the many #CoyoteTrapping (scrolling that tag was heartbreaking) videos to ask what is the difference between this wild #Animal being caught in a trap and the domestic #Dog that was caught in a trap in my previous post? _ Both are #Dogs. Both are scared. Both don’t want to die. Both react the same way to suffering and being trapped for a long period - they chew off their own limb to escape!!! The dog Arlo from my previous post did it but thankfully survived as he’s receiving treatment. #Coyotes do it too especially if they’re mothers who need to get back to their starving pups but they don’t survive, which also results in the deaths of their babies. _ These traps are evil, cruel and indiscriminate as they can catch #Animals of all species as well as people’s #Pets. They need to be banned worldwide as does #Fur trapping itself because killing sentient beings just to add #FurTrim to the hood of a jacket i.e. @CanadaGoose jackets with their #CoyoteFur trim, is horrific and unforgivable. _ P.S. Coyotes are the most misunderstood, targeted and persecuted animal across the United States. People trap and kill them daily and there’s no limit to how many can be killed and no restriction on the method used. They can be shot, strangled, poisoned or even blown up with dynamite for all the authorities care, which is actually something the authorities do themselves too. It’s done to other animals as well. Do you ever wonder why we even need to protest and speak out against this cruelty and insanity? _ What is wrong with people that we need to tell them over and over again that this is wrong? With cruel industries like #Leather #Wool #Cashmere #Angora etc, I enlighten people kindly as those industries are very normalised in society so many people are blissfully unaware and may do better once they know better. _ However with #Fur, people KNOW the cruelty that’s involved. They KNOW they’re wearing the furs of animals that suffered. The #RealFur industry has always been controversial and taboo but in light of all of this information, they wear it anyway. Why are they so selfish, greedy and vain? _ Why would wealthy people rather splash their cash on wearing dead animals as a wealth and status symbol rather than using that money to help people who are poor and suffering instead?
