Today’s offering is one of complete Mystery and Intrigue. I came across this custom Analog board when I went to @rspeaudio to buy an @avid.protools cable that I needed for my rig. There, tucked in a corner of their showroom was this custom Analog board. At first, when I looked at the knobs, specifically the frequency sellectors, it looked like a Quad Eight M61S, with the two bands of equalization. Upon closer inspection, some of the board’s frequency sellections did not match that of the M61S. Note that there are no Aux sends and the buss assignment matrix is either to buss 1 or 2 and there are (6) additional buss assignments on the top of each module. Dave Szpak from RSPE told me that this was a custom Demedio board. In my experience, Demedio used API 550 or 560 EQ’s along with his modified electronics.
