Clay Spenser First Line . . There are a couple inaccuracies here that I am working to correct. . . First is the inner belt. Right now I’m using the HSGI IDR belt. The correct belt is the Yates 463D in Yates own Terra colorway, which is basically Coyote Brown. Unfortunately it’s only available to Mil/LEO. The HSGI is the closest option. Hoping to find the Yates on a gear resale page. . . Second it the holster mount. All of Bravo Team uses the S&S Precision Trifecta Connecta. I identified this recently and it’s been ordered however there is a 6-8 week lead time. The current FMA Holster Extender will suffice for now. . . The LBT 9022b isn’t the right color. Here I have it in Coyote Brown. Clay’s is Coyote Tan. Sounds like a small detail that can be overlooked but this is all about authenticity. I’ll pick one up later down the line. . . Lastly I need to change the tape on the chemlights. It’s supposed to be a darker brown color instead of the current khaki color. Ugh . . . . So I’m sure many of you have seen the recent post from @bravoteamgear showing off Brock’s SPC, an AOR1 dipped TW Exfil, and the teams 10.4” 416’s. Looking at the 416, it’s pretty obvious I haven’t come close to correct when it comes to the paint used. Me being a perfectionist, this bothered me. . . I scoured the interwebs in hopes of finding a more accurate color. I stumbled across Brownells selection. Now they have two offerings which might work better. Brownells Magpul FDE paint, which might be a tad too bright, and Brownells Coyote which, based on the color of the cap, might be the winner. Anyways, both have been ordered and will hopefully arrive Friday. . . I’m gonna have to strip all the paint off the upper. It’s gonna be a lot of work. Anyways, stay tuned for updates coming this weekend. Hopefully I get it right this time. . . Also I’ve got two new items coming to the Spenser MRB tomorrow which I am super excited about! My new @airsoftartisan custom made, one-of-kind Surefire SOCOM RC-2 Suppressor w/ a 3 prong flash hider. . . Airsoft RC-2’s aren’t easy to find, and when you do find one, they’re not that good. Their color is off, they don’t lock on too well, and poorly finished. So I contacted AA to ask them to custom make one for me. . . For a Chinese company, Airsoft Artisan has some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. A lot of American companies can’t compete with theirs. Not to mention how incredible their suppressors are. Seriously top of the line. HAO is probably the only one better, but they only make one RC model. . . The Seal Team 416 calls for a SOCOM RC-2 with a 3 prong flash hider. That combination doesn’t exist on the replica suppressor market. Thankfully Airsoft Artisan was able to accommodate. It cost a bit extra but it’s definitely worth it. It makes my Bravo 416 that much more accurate. . .
