HI! Hello‍♀️ How are y’all doin’?! Taking a late lunch break from the last 3 hours of reading I’ve been doing for my research assignment this week. #gradschoolgrind. Figure I update y’all on how it’s going — I’m currently on my 4th week of grad school and so far I’ve done 1 PowerPoint presentation, 3 assignments, and a shit ton of reading. It def has taken a lot of self discipline to really manage my time wisely but I’d be lying if I told you I DIDN’T get distracted every 30 mins with my phone, emails, social media ‍♀️ it’s a work in progress. Haha. Despite the progressively growing workload, I managed to squeeze in 2 trips this month — to Mexico & Korea. I actually worked on my Powerpoint presentation every morning at 5/5:30AM of my Korea trip and got an A on it I’m trying to keep up with my personal training sessions, but must admit I’ve only been going once a week this month I have, however, gotten enough sleep every night - well a shit ton of sleep in the last 3 days cause of jet lag. Still up keeping my blog, oh there’s a new post by the way as of yesterday night... and I’m still managing photo projects while maintaining my social life. If your head hurts from reading that, imagine how I really feel LOL. Of course, this is just the 1st month of a 4-year journey so I’m going to really enjoy this “slowness” because it’s only going to get MORE crazy, chaotic, and stressful AF from here from here wish me luck. BUT I just wanted to remind you to enjoy these in-between, small, and joyous times in your life and remember to celebrate them just as you would the larger ones. Reflecting on this fine Monday and not just through my glasses _ Do you need glasses or contacts? I wear both because I’m very near sighted and can’t see without them . I’m curious if you all have as poor eye sight as I do.... so tell me your vision or prescription ⬇️ I’m eternally grateful for my blue light blocking lenses from years of my life staring at a computer screen ‍ _ The real reflection is spending the morning reviewing some old python code in order to incorporate my wind retrieval algorithm I developed while at NASA into my dissertation. Do you look at old work and pat yourself on the back or think to yourself “what the heck was I doing” I’m definitely a bit of both but that’s why we comment our code _ Wishing everyone a productive week!
