Happy Guru Purnima Everyone! On Saturday when we performed Divyarasa, @_aryapratap_ and I experienced something incredible. It was the first time we performed a duet repertoire as sisters and what made it most special for us was how this presentation was a creation weaved together by all three of us, Amma and her two daughters. We are so lucky to be able to live and breathe dance by having our own Amma @bindupratap.nritanjali as our Guru. It is a bond so special it’s inexplicable. We are fortunate to always have the opportunity any time of day to witness her incredible thought processes, creations, and the way she teaches with such patience, gives attention to amazing details, and knows all her students inside out. We were also blessed to perform some of our favorite compositions of our very special Guru Madurai R. Muralidharan @madurai.r.muralidaran.
