The little fishing village of Blue Rocks is one of my favourite #NovaScotia shooting locations - it's like a hidden gem sitting just down the road from the ever popular #Lunenberg. When I spotted this small unusual shaped fishing shack sitting on a rocky outcrop it was a total stop the car right now moment!

You’ll never have more time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You’ll never have more space. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You are the only one who can create each of these in your life in order to accommodate additional/new focuses. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Staying in Vancouver would’ve been the easy thing to do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I had my habits. My routine. My friends and network. I was content. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But I also realized that I could’ve lived that way forever if I allowed it. Working 12 hours a day. No family around. No desire to date. No potential of getting into the property market like I’ve wanted to since I was 7 (HGTV fiend right here lol). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And while there’d have been nothing wrong with that, I started to realize that as much as I enjoyed it and I was comfortable, I would wake up one day with regret. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Regret of not being closer to my dad. Regret of not slowing down at least a little so I could try to settle down. Regret of not making real steps towards my goals of property ownership. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So I took the risk. And I still can’t believe I did it. I’m not going to lie, it feels weird. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And while I’m not settled in quite yet, and there have already been many challenges, I still know in my gut that this was the right thing to do. And I want to thank everyone who’s been here for me through it all. ❤️

@morelifeperspectives - School, cooking, eating, sleeping & daily life chores haven’t been leaving much time left for instagram lately. It’s also been quite a while since I watched the sunrise; time to make a few minor tweaks to my routine.
