Пряжа 700м/100г в одно сложение 50%меринос, 50%шелк, бердо №16 . 287 нитей основы, а это составляет 746 м, каждая ниточка прошло через мои пальцы! На челнок было намотано около 600 м 17 часов работы, куда входило (натягивание нитей на раму, снование основы, сам процесс ткачества, кручение бахромы) 195 см - длина палантина, подсчитанная мной, на товарном вале, 185 см при снятии с него и  176 см в готовом изделии (без бахромы), не забываем про усадку! 144 закрученных кончиков в бахрому вес 180г р-р 40*176 см Вот такая история создания . Палантин готов украсить и нежно укутать. Soaking up these last few months of baby. Those chubby little fingers and baby lips. ❤️ She’s already acts and feels so much older than Gracie did at this age, it’s sad and exciting at the same time. I keep getting asked though, both in person and online, when our next one will be...and I just have to ask: does that happen to you? It’s like people expect me to just keep having kids we are done with our two girls and pretty happy + satisfied with our decision. Earlier this morning I was rushing through our breakfast routine, we ate, then I needed to do dishes and wash off Norah’s messy hands (almond butter everywhere) . . I hurriedly grabbed a towel (any towel) to wash her hands off and I started to do so when she stopped me. She spotted a butterfly on the towel I was using. I hadn’t seen or noticed it. It was just a towel to me. She used her chubby little finger to point to it and babble something letting me know that she saw it. She smiled. So much joy. So much innocence. So much beauty right before our eyes. I stopped, gave her a kiss, and said “yes, butterfly!” . . I have moments like this pretty often. I think because I grew up in a very abnormal environment; I craved normalcy and the “typical” family, things I have now, and that I’m so thankful for. But even I take them for granted sometimes too. . . This morning was a much needed reminder to me that it’s okay to s l o w d o w n, and try not to rush through life or anything for that matter. Here’s to taking our time, and noticing + appreciating the beauty in the mundane.
