HAPPINESS CHALLENGE Two days ago Sam from @ourpassportdiary shared a post where she announced that she’ll start to write down 5 things she’s grateful for every evening for 30 days . I’ve already heard a lot about this daily routine and now I decided that I’ll start it as well. I’ll try to write down five things which made my happy at this day each evening and I’ll share them in our stories. And now it’s up to you I want to ask you guys if you want to join me . This little 30 days challenge is about focusing on the positive things cause this could be very hard sometimes. No matter what made you happy this day, write it down. It could be the delicious ice cream you ate, the nice message you received from your bestie, the neighbor who smile at you at the street, the good conversation with your partner, the flower which blooms in your garden and so on. I ate pomegranate and honeydew melon and it was soo delicious! 2. I drove a friend home, cause nobody else had time and she was soo happy about it . 3. I’ve eliminated much of our relocation chaos . 4. Daniel’s grandma gave me some flowers and a cucumber out of her garden. 5. I’ve washed my hair with rye flour yesterday and they look great today . . I was talking to some rando @omniabali - he had retired a year ago at age 41, was currently living off his real estate investments, yet was traveling alone... it was hard for him to find people his age who he could travel with - they either didn’t have the flexibility because of their jobs or they had other responsibilities to either their wives or children... he said he didn’t mind being alone half the time but wished he could share at least 50% of the memories with good friends. It’s a good reminder to keep our relationships front and center regardless of how “busy” work gets... in the end, it’s the people in our lives that really matters, not our aspirations or the money we make... at least that was the lesson I took away from our conversation.
