Quick, hit that save button! You’re going to want to remember your favorite guacamole recipe . My husband is Mexican and since I met him I’ve been perfecting my recipe. I can officially say, it doesn’t get any better than this . Never had any guac You are making it this week so add avocados to your shopping list . It’s great for little ones too, just don’t add any salt (they won’t know the difference ). •
INGREDIENTS:
-4 hass avocados -2 limes
-2 small tomatoes
-1/4 sweet onion
-Small punch of cilantro
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣Cut and pit avocados.
2️⃣Smash the avocados using a potato smasher or a fork.
3️⃣Cut the tomatoes and onion into small squares. Add it to the smashed avocados.
4️⃣Add salt, garlic powder, the juice of two limes and a few cilantro leaves.
5️⃣Mix very well and serve. Remove the stem from the avocado to see if it is ready. White= not ripe, green= ripe, brow= over ripe. For babies, simply don’t add lime or salt. Now that Emma is 14 months, I give it to her as is #menumondays #mothercould

BANANA MUFFINS
I know it’s not Monday but this long weekend has me thinking it is , so here’s a healthy snack recipe to start the week. For babies, you can substitute the honey for maple syrup or agave ❤️. This is one snack I feel great giving to my kids , check our the ingredients .
• INGREDIENTS:
-1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour -1 teaspoon baking soda
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-4 medium bananas
-1/2 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
-3oz honey
-1 egg
-1 tablespoon vanilla extract
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-Handful chocolate chips
-Non-stick cooking spray
INSTRUCTIONS:
♨️Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
1️⃣Add bananas, yogurt, honey, egg, vanilla and oil to a blender. Mix on high until smooth.
2️⃣Add flour, baking soda and salt. Blend well.
3️⃣Slowly add in chocolate chips.
4️⃣Spray the muffin trey with non-stick cooking spray.
5️⃣Add the batter evenly to the muffin trey (fill each container about 3/4 of the way)
6️⃣Cook for about 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
Cool for about 15 minutes. They are most delicious when they are warm!
This recipe makes 24 mini muffins or 12 regular size muffins.
