This setup right here is MURDEROUS gain, low end that’s hitting in just the right spot, and just enough articulation and cut. Signal Path/gear used: @aristidesguitars 080s with @lundgrenguitarpickups Black Heaven humbuckers -> @highwindamplification Direwolf Overdrive -> @ksramps Ceres Preamp pedal -> FX return of the @randallamps Satan 50 -> @ksramps 2x12 vertical cab loaded with @celestionuk Creamback and Vintage 30! Pure death metal tone bliss!!! Everything in that chain is doing a job. Those Black Heaven humbuckers are something else when introduced to blistering high gain! They go from being something that sounds darker, hotter-vintage to something downright nasty! They have that ridiculous attack that Lundgrens are know for, but fucking BRUTAL! That Ceres pedal is stupid. It’s ridiculous to me that all that tone is available in a package that small! And putting the Direwolf in front to tighten things allows me to compensate by loosening up some of the settings on the Ceres! They are really working well together! Add to that the new speakers are sounding phenomenal in that cab! I have an incredible room tone.
