Today we had our first board meeting of 2019. We were excited to have Craig with us this time as he’s back from Haiti this week. We had a very productive meeting, casting vision for the year. We are very blessed and grateful for these men and what they contribute to the success of Harvest Craft!

Livestock integration on agricultural systems is crucial! Without animals, most farms have to rely on synthetic chemicals to kill weeds, control pests, and add fertility to soil. Why use chemicals, when you can use animals? Animals, when managed properly, can help remove weeds, add fertility and organic matter to the soil via their manure, and can also provide an additional economic output, as we eventually sell them for meat. Animals are key to sustainable agriculture.
