BEST teacher hack EVER! I’ve seen several teachers share this hack for hanging bulletin board letters and quotes on the wall. I finally tried it out today, and it worked like magic. Stick painter’s tape across each word so the letters stay in place. Then gently peel it off once you have your letters glued or stapled. #teacherhacks #classroomdecor #classroomsetup #teachersofinstagram

T E R M 3 \\ I can’t believe the holidays are already over, and Term 3 starts tomorrow here in Victoria. The only school work I did these last two weeks was checking my work emails about 20 minutes ago I feel totally unprepared for this week, but I’m so so excited to see my kiddos again

You can’t tell, but I’m freaking out about summer coming to an end. ⁣ ⁣ I really, really love being a teacher. ⁣ ⁣ I love my students (even though I haven’t even met them yet)!⁣ ⁣ I can’t wait to see my students from last year. ⁣ ⁣ But, I’m also a wife, daughter, sister, friend, and dog mom. ⁣ ⁣ And honestly, I balance all of those things really crappily (is that even a word?) during the school year. ⁣ ⁣ This will be my 10th year teaching, and I don’t have any great advice. I don’t have any magic tricks, tips, or secrets that make everything easier. ⁣ ⁣ I show up, and do the best I can. ⁣ ⁣ Sometimes, I suck as a teacher. Sometimes, I’m a terrible wife, and my house is a wreck. ⁣ ⁣ I’m not perfect, my classroom sure isn’t, and neither is my house. I’m a real teacher, with a real classroom, real life with ups and downs, wins and losses. ⁣ ⁣ Be excited. Be real. Be you.
