Practicing the Uke today and wishing my favorite jam sesh partner was somewhere closer than on an island across the sea! So here’s a throwback of one of our Yosemite improv jams after Kiah first introduced me to the Ukulele over the summer! I highly recommend trying the Uke for anyone who found guitar too difficult or intimidating to start off on. I always wanted to play guitar, and even just playing Uke for a few weeks, I can already play more on the guitar than I ever could before. So much can transfer over! Played @sofarboston this past weekend @ashandrose - the woman who came up to tell a story for #songonthespot happened to be getting married in just over a month, so we all created a song called “Sophie’s Getting Married” together, and here’s a small clip If you’ve never been to a @sofarsounds - I would highly suggest going!! It’s a essentially intimate shows in secret locations (in cities around the world), where you don’t know which artist is playing till the day of!
