WOW.. What a day!!! We’ve had the most lovely first day welcoming new and existing customers to our beautiful rustic floral shop! It was so exciting to finally tear down that tissue paper on the window to reveal all our hard work! It’s been exactly 29 days since we moved from our little tin box, and we’ve worked SO hard to pull it off in time! Hello FRIDAY.. Okay keeping calm.. WE OPEN TOMORROW!!!!!!! Okay so not very calm at all but very EXCITED!!! Over the weekend I worked on this little commission. It is a Tiare which is the national flower of Tahiti. The fun bit on this one was working out petal shapes that overlap each other nicely. It's crocheted with sewing cotton and a 0.6mm hook, embellished with a little silver bead in the centre. Just need to add an 18" sterling silver chain.

Happy Thursday After almost 4 full days of creating hundreds of dried flower bunches, breaking a pair of scissors, up and down the ladders countless times, 3 blisters and getting so many flowers stuck in my hair.. our suspended dried floral ceiling is now FINISHED . I have just sat and stared at it in awe today, it looks so beautiful when you come in the shop and I can’t wait for you all to see it... even Mum hasn’t seen it yet but I know she’s going to be SO happy when she does!! So make sure you come down and see us on Saturday 27th July to experience it and shop beautiful rustic interiors under a blanket of dried flowers
