If you don’t want to exercise you’ll have to focus on your nutrition. Calculate your Basal metabolic rate (check google) and eat 400-700 calories below it to create a deficit. Ideally, keep your diet around whole foods, lean proteins, complex carbs, healthy fats, and veggies.⠀

Make sure you eat enough protein—about 1gr per pound of bodyweight. It will help you stay full longer and minimize muscle loss over time. ⠀

In other words, a diet that becomes a lifestyle you enjoy while it helps you reach your fitness goals. You are better off finding a less than ideal diet you stick to than taking on a “perfect” diet you quit. ⠀

That said, two components you should look for any diet (if you are looking to cut weight) is that it creates a caloric deficit (between 300-700 calories below your basal metabolic rate) and that it includes enough protein (about 0.8-1 gr per pound of your bodyweight). ⠀
