I have never gone crazy about the adhesive pouches until I saw @laughingandlearning post about how they could be used as pencil holders on folders. This is so perfect, because during choice centers my kiddos are moving all around the room and we all know that pencils left on the floor ends in catastrophe. A piece of advice I have found helpful in the classroom is to make sure everything has a place and a purpose. This gives a place for wandering pencils during times of movement! The pouches are from @target and make sure you press and hold them on for a little before placing a pencil in! To say I’m in love with this set of math reference pages is an understatement I have been working on this for over a year- over 50 print and go reference pages for upper elementary and middle school math I believe strongly in giving students the supports they need to be successful in math and this set of reference pages makes it easy to support individual students and their individual needs I am constantly adding new pages to it too! I can’t wait to share this visual with my kids next year! I have a great lesson idea to go with this image. This is why I love this community. So many talented teachers are on Instagram. Now to weigh in on the ”teacher celebrities” on Instagram, I personally love them. I feel like the conversation that has been going on the last couple of weeks is somewhat unhealthy. I love so many small, mid-sized, and large ”celebrity” accounts on here. While I agree that a teacher does not have to have an Instagram to be great, I do think this community strives to support one another. So I personally love every account I follow and the people I have ”met” here. Even if you do not agree with me, that is ok. I just want to share that I personally support everyone doing what they do on here. Nothing but love, friends!
