An Ode to Laura
By all accounts Laura was a lazy thing. Operating mainly around the South East Coast of Tassie, she never properly broke into her trade, and people said she just wasn’t a good steamer. Most did agree that she worked best with a wet stern however.

After more than a year of using Insta, I finally decided to try out those panoramic images, so please swipe left if you want to see more! This little scene comes from the Tasmanian Halls Falls, witness by me in January last year. These tannin-coloured waters, along with the gentle cascades they make and the ferns surrounding them, are one of my most enduring memories of Tasmania.
