Year 3 This year has been anything but easy, even up until the last day. Before the year started I was adjusting to a new team. The first week of school we lost a fellow teacher to the evil of cancer. I spent the first 3 months of school teaching in a room under construction and half the size it was supposed to be. We became departmentalized midway into the year. And on top of that add every other difficult thing teachers have to add to their plates these days. This year was hard. Plain and simple. And because of that I’ve decided it’s okay to be happy about the end of the year. For the next 3 months I get to wake up and focus on me and do things I love and I’m so ready. #teachersofinstagram #teachersfollowteachers #teacherspayteachers #iteachthird

Wanna know my favorite time to prep for back to school? In MAY. It may seem crazy but hear me out. Come August it’s go time and I’m a ball of stress. In May I’m still calm and excited and proud of myself for getting a head start!
