#throwbackthursday to my tiny little babies. Ronnie was 1 day old in his photo and Teddy was 3 days old and his octopus was nearly as big as his head and trust me it wasn’t big at all. Both boys were finally off of the ventilator, luckily they only were ventilated for a day. Ronnie’s lungs were strong enough for him not to need any other support after being ventilated but our little Ted was born wit Chronic Lungs Disease which meant that he was on oxygen and home oxygen until 6 months old. I used to get so nervous about taking Teddy out to public places because of the stares and comments I used to get. It was hard enough having two tiny babies in a pram but having one on oxygen people would be so inconsiderate about certain comments they would make! Chronic Lungs Disease is something which will probably stay with Ted for a while but hopefully he grows out of it, at the minute he is suffering with asthma but maybe when his lungs grow this may change.
