I'm 26 and only got diagnosed with PCOS 6 months ago after 3 failed IUI rounds. Iv been on the pill since I was 15 so I either skipped my period or just didn't pay much attention to if it didn't arrive. I never thought that I could have something wrong with my ovaries. No one else in my family has had fertility issue but it turns out I'm the unlucky one. If currently had 2 canceled ivf rounds and my ovaries weren't playing the game. Iv had more injections then I can count. Scans almost every week. And atleast 1 or 2 bloods test a week. Plus the other drugs i have taken to help produce enough big follicles. The last year has been the most draining year physically and mentally. Being told no your not pregnant too we are canceling this round. When I had my eggs collected I ended up with 5 being frozen as my ovaries were on the verge of being hyperstimulated (which can be very dangerous). After this I finally have a transfer date. I'm terrified of going because I don't know if I can be told it didn't work again. I never in a million years thought I would have trouble with infertility you never think it will be you.
