The book of the month over at @maidensofmurder is They Came to Baghdad, which is one of several books that Agatha Christie set in the Middle East where she spent a lot of time travelling, writing, and taking part in archaeological digs with her second husband Max Mallowan. These travels are documented in the autobiography, Come, Tell Me How You Live. . Have you read any of these? I’ve only read Death on the Nile so far but will be starting They Came to Baghdad soon and reading Death Comes as the End in December for the @maidensofmurder book for that month.
