It was made in September, in Paros during @the.flo.show. I am so impressed with my friend @sandrachoremi’s perfectly white and bright kitchen. Julia Rumsey (here) and Sophie (@sistersjunction) supplied us with delicious and healthy food, locally sourced or picked right from Sandra's garden. Much of the food was gluten, dairy, sugar-free, just perfect for me. ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ The New York Times Travel show is ON right now and you can learn so much about where you might want to visit in your lifetime, near or far.⠀ ⠀

I journaled and walked and feel ready for 2019. Imagine a day in Brooklyn at @cookspacebk with friends, I have always wanted to learn how to make the crust with the leaves…and we did….and I was able to bring it home to my husband. Soooooo many pies were made: Apple, sweet potato, chocolate caramel and pear cardamom. On instagram I am still focusing on my travels, lifestyle, portraiture. I think this fits the bill. . . Huge thanks to all of those who let me film their hands and their fine work. I really did help create every pie even though it looks like I was filming most of the time. Seriously delicious looking, I'm so impressed when pastry chefs do their magic and create beauty like this. I’m just taking the photos for now... I will be taking a pie-making class soon. I've always wanted to learn how to criss-cross the pie crust on the top. And make gluten-free recipes. Stay tuned ‍
