English Oak & Redcurrant is a tart, fruity, woody fragrance for men and women; which is described as the forest at dawn — bright, embracing, and bewitching. This fragrance was a total “love a first sniff” for me. It smells very fresh, crisp, green, and juicy. The opening is extremely vibrant, there’s a wonderfully soft floral at the heart, and it all seems to be surrounded by a warm and enveloping base. Although this cologne feels a bit youthful, I think it could be comfortably worn by any age (casually or dressed up), and it’s ideal for daytime use. Even though the performance is moderate, I consider this to be about average for the category/concentration. Besides, I really enjoy reapplying this fragrance (mid-wearing); in order to refresh the scent and extend its longevity. ☺️ This is a very mysterious and enchanting fragrance. A fragrance can linger on clothes, in rooms, over the air Causing thoughts like ‘Nicky’s here!’ Or...... ‘oh no, Nicky’s here ’ In my early 20s my signature scent was Thierry Mugler, Angel. A very distinct fragrance that not a lot of people wore at the time. I wore it every day until one day at work I noticed a colleague wearing it. My fault for telling her what I was wearing when she asked. The problem was this woman that robbed me of my signature scent was this lazy negative bitchy winger that made my gums itch every time I spoke to her. You know those people that can suck the life out of a room just by walking in? Just to add more context I believe in my heart of hearts this woman didn’t like puppy’s, robbed candy from small children came to work every day on a broom stick and may have been in a satanic cult. (As a founding member) AND she ate my twix, she said it wasn’t her ........ but I know it was . . I stopped wearing Angel immediately because I didn’t want people to smell the fragrance on me and associate me with this twix robbing Satan worshiper. Now I wear jo Malone, I layer multiple fragrances to create my own scent and when people ask what I’m wearing I just say ‘jo Malone’. . . I was going to ask if you have a signature scent, but what I really want to know is, do you have someone in your work that shamelessly eats other people’s food without even asking? I’ve been dealing with a Pepsi thief, and while I don’t want to point fingers (@reahthompson ) STOP PINCHING MY PEPSI.
