In case you needed a reminder: -Wear the swimsuit
-Stop worrying about getting older and nurture your inner-child
-Spend more time in nature
-Get in those photographs
-Laugh more than you worry
-Wear those stretch marks like a badge of honor-some women would give anything to have them
-Say more kind things to yourself
-Don’t compare page 28 of your story to page 36 of someone else’s story. We all walk the journey a little differently
-Do more things that bring you joy-real, soul-fulfilling, immense joy
-Truly appreciate the wonderful and beautiful human being that God created when he made you

These are just a few things I thought about today. Women need to be reminded how awesome they are more often. Walk by the magazine stand and see how much pressure there is for women to run themselves ragged reaching for unreachable perfection: makeup, body size, time management, mom-ing, wife-life, success, etc, etc, etc Go text three of your best girlfriends and tell them how much you appreciate and adore them cause: happiness breeds happiness. ☀️✨ #SaturdayMood #GirlPower
After losing Henry I wanted nothing to do with another pregnancy. NOTHING. The fear of walking into a 20 week appointment and hearing “there is no heartbeat” was controlling ANY thought I had regarding another baby. When I saw that plus sign I thought God was making a huge mistake, because I couldn’t emotionally handle going through it again. But Iiving THROUGH that fear was EXACTLY what I needed. I needed that scary journey to see just how strong I was, every day was terrifying y’all. When I started bleeding at 8 weeks I was certain it was over but that sweet babe had a heartbeat that Monday when they snuck me in for a visit. Every doctors appointment was HIGH stress, but every day I got stronger, every appointment I got wiser. The 20 week appointment was with the same doctor who delivered Henry, we hadn’t seen eachother since that day; we were both terrified. We cried together before the appointment, it was nice to know someone else also felt my fear. After we found the heartbeat we cried even more. We had DONE IT, we had rewritten the chapter we left on. Teddy’s pregnancy wasn’t Henry’s. Teddy’s story wasn’t the same. God gives you MORE than you can handle, and it’s not to cause stress and anxiety, it’s for you to grow into a stronger version of yourself. Had I never walked this road, I would have always wondered “what if”. I know it’s scary, it was the scariest thing I’ve ever done but know that every day you are getting stronger and transforming. I can’t imagine life without this crazy goober and I’m forever grateful God slipped in and took ahold of my fears. Theodore Henry you are one of a kind
All Things Butter. Cooking lesson 25, quarter 3. •
•
Spent the day filming some of our cooking lessons yesterday: Clarified Butter, Brown butter, Ghee, Dips, Humble Beginnings (Mirepoix, Sofrito,, etc), compound butters and Roux.
Why Why cook? Why can’t I just meal prep, drink shakes and buy pre-made? It’s what the wellness, health and diet culture market? •
•
•
Cooking not only deepens your connection with the food you consume (and others if you are willing to share!) but knowing how to cook a DIVERSE variety of richly flavored meals INCREASES NUTRIENT DIVERSITY and SATIETY; it is the best, first step to honoring your hunger (no more deprivation. No more over eating—-an escape from the chronic, cyclical diet lifestyle!) •
•
•
Our Common Sense Transformation program includes 48 cooking lessons from Mise en Place (what do I need) to Gather at my Table (prepare a feast). Cooking can be easy, quick and increase your joy—-cooking for a busy, hectic life but a skill set learned that will enable you to make fussy stuff too! •

Stop being enslaved to a lifestyle. Start living YOUR LIFE...well nourished, well fed, and joy FILLED. #cookingiskey
Holy moly.
12 weeks stands between these two photos. A new found level of joy, zeal, determination, discipline, and immense gratitude also stands between the two. (Yes, I’m flexing as hard as possible in both photos — no shame) I remember being SO proud of that 1st photo!! I had just completed or was on my last week of a 6-week 20-minute-a-day step program (maybe some of you remember the videos I used to post daily of my step workouts! Haha)
The second photo is TODAY, day 70– 10 days left of my 80 Days. Same outfit, so I thought I’d snap a pic.. when you see yourself every single day, you don’t see the change.. but when you stop and look back, it’s so apparent. EVERY SINGLE PART of my body has physically changed, but more than that is the change in my mind and even spirit!! The way I look at any challenge that I face is different now.. I no longer suffer from chronic, nearly-paralyzing stomach pain. I have more energy than I’ve ever had in my life. My body is the healthiest, most properly fueled it has EVER been, and I’m eating more than I’ve ever eaten— just eating the right things. I still have fun and eat out and indulge with my friends and family from time to time. It’s the day to day that has improved. I now look forward to my morning routine every single night when I go to bed. God has given me SUCH an enthusiasm for getting in His word again each morning and then as I lean into discipline to complete my daily workout. What I thought was just working on my physical appearance ricocheted into a whole heart and soul transformation. I look forward to what Jesus shows me next. The craziest thing for me to think about is if I didn’t say YES and actually START and commit and show up when I didn’t want to— I wouldn’t have gotten here. Thank you, Jesus, for the discipline!!! Anyone wanna join as I start over from Day 1 and see what the next 80 days produce?!?!
Camp Update: I’ve witnessed Jr. High kids encounter the person of Jesus for the past three weeks and I’m hooked. Jesus is real and His love is tangible. The Holy Spirit is making some MONEY MOVES over here.

Also, Father God told me three weeks ago that my new name is Radiant Joy. Feel free to call me by that name at any time. So here is some photographic evidence of that prayer becoming a reality. -

Also, also, I get to be on the worship team this summer. Thank you Jesus. Ora pro my throat.

Have you ever been in a place where you feel you've gone too far?
That you have wandered away so far from God that you can't get back?
There's this voice in your head that whispers that you can't go back because He won't accept you for you've hurt Him way too much.
You almost give in. Almost.
But take a moment to ponder on His love for you. His care.
You're alive today because of His love for you.
You feel guilty and you want to go back because He's tugging the strings of your heart.
If he didn't love you and want you, would he draw you to Him?
He loves you.
You've not gone so far that you can't return back to Him.
You've not gone so far that He can't reach you.
Don't listen to that voice that tells you otherwise.
Instead, claim His promises and run to Him. Give up everything that does not please Him.
Cling to Him.
He will never push you away.
He will never give up on you.
He will never stop loving you.
Never.

Journal entry.
.
.
At times I really don't share what I want to because I'm scared that my grammar is not correct but then today I decided I would share this. It may not be perfect grammar but I feel someone may need to read this. At times when I'm discouraged, I write letters to myself. Yep, I write letters to myself. May should strange or even silly but it helps me a lot. I am able to sort out my thoughts and find strength in Him again by claiming this promises.
So this is one of the entry in my personal journal. Should I post more of these?
