Day 22 of #julytoypic is fav childhood toy. I didn't really have a specific favorite as a kid. I always played with such a variety. Most played with were my action figures, Little Tikes Kitchen, and matchbox cars. I also loved any sort of horse/pony figures, Tea Bunnies, Littlest Pet Shop, the Playskool Victorian Dollhouse and playing dress up. Here's a few toys that survived my childhood in the photo. I used to lose all sorts of small pieces, so playsets never really stayed together. Day 21 of #julytoypic is game time! Nothing beat the heat during my childhood summers like gathering with the neighborhood kids for video games at our house. We were the go to house for games because between my two brothers, we were covered in all the latest as well as older consoles. Of course, most days mom made us play outside because "it was too nice to be inside". Anyone else deal with that growing up? Back to the games, we would all pile into my brother's room for some very intense rounds of GoldenEye, heated races in Super Mario Kart/Mario Kart 64, competitions of who could get the farthest in Donkey Kong Country, beating the crap out of each other in Street Fighter...the list goes on and on. My Pet Monster has full gear in his MLP backpack, ready to go to his friend's house and hook up the old N64 for game night. Day 20 of #julytoypic is story time. Idk if this is really a story? But I've had my first Grail for just over a year now. Got this sweet bby on July 18th of last year. I just asked my husband "isn't she just perfect?" And he said yes, to my surprise. She really is lovely in all ways to me. I love her design overall, and the eye design is so beautifully detailed. Would love to talk to or even meet whoever designed these. I got lucky and won her on an eBay auction. I remember having major anxiety all week, worrying I'd not win her! I was legit freaking out. I also got lucky with her eye placement, it's just right for me.
