These images turned out "OK" in spite of my mishap shooting three rolls of Ektar 100 with the camera set to an exposure compensation of -2; essentially shooting at ISO 400. Luckily I caught the mistake while partway through the third roll, and stayed the course to keep my exposures consistent. I had the film pushed two stops to remedy the situation, which made for usable images, albeit contrasty with some lost shadow detail. Good morning from Kingman!

I’ve had these gorgeous high quality turquoise stones that were all cut by Garrett McGinnis in my personal stash for awhile, and recently felt the urge to make them into statement rings. The turquoise is from the Royston, Kingman, and Kings Manassa mines, and each stone is so amazing... I hope my settings did them justice. These for rings are finished to size and will be available in my online shop update on April 18th at 6pm PST.
