Kuala Lumpur ⚐ If you’ve ever been around me while I set up a tripod like I know what I’m doing, you’ll know how much I obsess about symmetry. Composition is apparently what the professionals call it. When we came across this escalator I didn’t know if I was in heaven or hell. It’s a symmetrical dream, but with our tripod on it’s last legs like me after a few ciders, it was a nightmare to line it up. Thankfully, with the help of the wee Dutch delight Ilsa who not only helped set it up but also helped control the traffic of people as she went full-on button pusher for us that day. Ivana had to hang about at the top and come down the escalator as I waited for the coast to be clear at the bottom and make my way up only to turn round and start walking the wrong way down the steps to capture this picture. With several failed attempts, thanks to people appearing on the escalator, this was one of our most difficult shots yet. Куала-Лумпур оставляет неоднозначное впечатление. Город, где архитекторы совсем не дружат друг с другом. Странные, а порой несуразные небоскрёбы разбросаны в хаотичном порядке, а местами просто набросаны друг на друга, как будто тот, кто строил новую громадину, просто не заметил, что там уже стоит другая. Но побывать точно стоит... не надолго Кстати, для тех кто планирует попасть в #kualalumpur на экспрессе - проезд от аэропорта до центра города стоит 55 MYR на человека, это наши родные почти тысяча. Но есть один #travellifehack - от аэропорта со станции #KLIA можно доехать до станции #salaktinggi за 4,9 MYR, а от туда уже взять билет до #klsentral за 18,3 MYR, и поездка обойдётся уже 23,2 MYR.
