Here’s the progress of take 2 of my knitting journey. I can’t say this will be my final time making this same hat but I feel good about it! I wanna shout out to the designer of this pattern Justyna with @ladyjaycrochet. She is officially my knitting fairy godmother. She’s been so great answering my questions, giving me tips and helping me navigate her pattern. Alright, off I go to get even further on this toque!

In a bid to improve my (almost non existent) knitting skills I treated myself to this gorgeous kit It’s a simple snood pattern but with the beautiful yarn, knitting needles and detailed instructions from Lauren I am hoping to master the basics This 100% merino yarn is I’ve gone for the colour ‘Cinnamon’ as I wanted to try something a bit different - so pleased with my choice . I’ll keep you up to date on my progress and am thinking of writing a little knitting journey diary to keep track of things. Det går stille og roligt fremad med min #begynderjakke til Vincent. Den bliver muligvis lidt bred i pasformen, men så lærte jeg da det med at løbelængden på garnet helst skal passe med det foreslåede i opskriften- og ikke kun vægten. I have finished my #woodwardia jumper and despite washing and blocking my gauge swatch, the finished article grew quite a bit after blocking! Fortunately with the oversized style of this cosy jumper it’s not a massive problem, though I will have to fold back the cuffs! The Lovely detail on the raglan faux seam is what drew me to this design and they show up brilliantly in this amazing soft red yarn! • • • Yarn is @rosarios_4 capuccino yarn from @knitnottingham Pattern by Lydia Gluck from @pompommag issue 28

The sock Kal is still going full swing and I am amazed to see so many gorgeous pairs of happy socks being knitted and some already finished! I am so proud of you all. For those of you who are still knitting socks { like me } keep going! There is plenty of time left for you to finish. I have shown you all the prizes donated by several kind person and i want to show mine. Its a little sock bag { a little over average of my normal sock bag } that i made for you and i will be filling the bag with little mini balls from my own stash, enough to knit a pair of happy socks. There will also be some extra goodies that i will tuck inside. I hope you like it.
