Link in bio! ⁣ Photo by @zeebalife ⁣ ⁣ MY Portugal Travel Tips Part III: My tips to visit PRAIA DO CAMILO in LAGOS:⁣ This is hands down one of my favorite beaches in the world and an absolute MUST during your stay. If you have limited time, I’d highly recommend you make Praia do Camilo a priority.⁣ Though it might not seem like it, this beach is very accessible and it’s just 5 mins away from the main town and there is parking right on the top of the beach ⁣ BUT (because there is always a BUT) the “hike” down to the beach consists of 200+ steps aka the stairway to heaven pictured above Plenty of kids were doing it with no problem, it would only be a concern if you have knee problems.⁣ Bring everything you need down with you including towels, water, snacks, screen because or else you have a long way back up again as there are no shops, restaurants, or anyone selling anything on the beach.⁣ There is a restaurant next to the parking , food is okay - would not recommend for veggies as there is only one option- vegetable soup⁣ This beach is one of the most popular ones in all of Algarve (and it is not the biggest) so rest assured it will get packed. Get there at 10AM so you can reserve a good seat⛱⁣ I HIGHLY recommend that during the summer you go around 9AM so you can really soak in the beauty of this place when it’s empty. It’s truly magical and a completely different feel !
