Check our stories or @sofaconofficial for the schedule and know that all of this is happening online...here are a few of the new things we’ll be releasing: ✉️ I’ve made a “remastered & reworked” edition of what I think might be the first-ever @americfootball poster, titled “Untitled (the one with the house),” which will be available through the weekend and then will disappear from the store. Limited to 100 copies and all orders for this print will include a copy of an exclusive-to-SofaCon keyplate edition. ✉️ We’re finally releasing a very special cassette version of @thepauses amazing “Unbuilding” album, recorded by J. Robbins (of @jawboxofficial and a ton of my favorite albums) and wrapped in screenprinted packaging with full lyrics and everything. Limited to 200 copies. ✉️ We’re also releasing a very small handful of “Landland x Field Notes Instant Collection Kits,” including probably the last of the ridiculously limited “Landland Dead Prints” 3-packs that we’ll ever have available online. ⛑ There’s a few other things, clayboard originals and my first-ever solicitation for commissioned drawings, and Jes has a TON of stuff too...check out her @_jseamans thing for details on all of that. Wait, there’s more! “I, Tourist” is a giclee of a gouache painting (my very first time using acrylic gouache!) of a spotted dove chillin on a dragon statue with some kind of pretty garbage. It’s 7x9”, an edition of 40 and lovingly reproduced by the fine folks at @staticmedium It’s also going to be up for sale on the Landland site along with everything else I’ve been spamming as part of SOFACON, which starts this Saturday. SOFACON is like an online convention and there are a ton of really rad artists and features that you should check out at @sofaconofficial if you’re at all interested. There is also a relatively high proportion of women artists, which, if you’ve been to an in-person con of this type, you know is not always a given, and I think it’s worth mentioning! A very special knife and a very special Field Notes! . . . This is the Lil’ Nilakka, a smaller version of the Nilakka. This is Spyderco’s first ever Flash Batch, which is their new concept of one time only limited edition runs of a model never produced before. The Lil’ Nilakka was a 1200 piece run, each one marked with a unique number. It is a type of gentleman’s folding puukko knife. It uses RWL-34 steel, smooth white G10 scales, and has bronzed hardware. . . For any “field nuts” who may be reading, the notebook is a super limited edition @fieldnotesbrand done a few years back in collaboration with @landlandcolportage called the LandLand x Field Noted “Dead Prints”.
