Кто ты вообще такой? = Who the hell are you? (slang)
С кем ты вчера встречалась? = Who (with whom) have you met yesterday? (addressing a female)
Когда мы снова увидимся? = When we see each other again?
Где ты был всю мою жизнь? = Where have you been all my life? ^^ Почему он такой дурак? = Why is he such an idiot/fool? :D
Now it's your turn ;) p.s. I will talk more about it in my live broadcast on Monday

❗️ WHY? REASON OR RESULT?!❗️
———————————
▫️ Я много знаю, потому что много читаю (I know a lot because I read a lot )
First we see or know the result and then speak about the reason.
▫️Я много читаю, поэтому много знаю (I read a lot that's why I know a lot)
First we know the reason and then speak about the result.
Let's remember:
•Потому что = так как (because)
•Поэтому (That's why).
▫️Я устал, так как много работал (I'm tired because I worked a lot).
▫️Я много работал, поэтому устал (I worked a lot that's why I'm tired ).
Из-за (due to /because of).
There are a few difference in the construction of the sentence.
•Из-за + того+ что...
▫️Из-за того, что я много читаю, я много знаю (Due to me reading a lot I know a lot).
•Из-за + (кого?/чего?) ...
▫️Из-за тебя я не пойду в театр (because of you I won’t go to the theater).
Когда вы думаете о России, что первое приходит вам в голову When you think about Russia, what first comes to your mind? Матрёшка
Imperfective and Perfective Aspects
⠀
The Russian verbs has 3 tenses and 2 aspects.
Aspects describe different qualities of an action- it is either acting (the process of doing something- Imperfective) or the result of an action (after someone has finished doing something- Perfective).
Using Perfective/Imperfective depends only on the intention of the speaker to emphasize different aspects of action in his or her speech.
⠀
Завтра я буду готовить торт.
I'll be making a cake tomorrow (Imperfective).
⠀
Завтра я приготовлю торт.
I will make a cake tomorrow (Perfective).
⠀
That's why the Perfective can be used only in the Past or Future Tense, since the result can be either reached in the past, or will be reached in the future.
If you need to say that the process of doing something is necessary and important then use the Imperfective.
The Perfective aspect of Russian verb is formed from the Imperfective by using different prefixes and suffixes.
⠀
▫️ДЕЛАТЬ (Imperfective)
⬇️Я делаю это сейчас. I'm doing it now.
Я делаю это каждый день. I do it every day.
⬅️Вчера я это не делал. I didn't do it yesterday.
Я делал это в течении двух часов. I was doing it for 2 hours.
⠀
▫️СДЕЛАТЬ (Perfective)
Ты сделал это?
Have you done it?
⠀
Я этого не сделал.
I haven't done it.
⠀
♀️Я не успела это сделать.
♀️I had no time to do it.
