Whats your favorite move to train glutes?! Mine is actually a weighted Bulgarian Split Lunge! But I love side steps at the end of leg day or in between sets. When doing side steps with resistance bands, which are a GREAT way to train your glutes, place them near the ankle (swipe) instead of on the thigh as in this first pic. When places near the ankle, you’ll get more resistance and full range of motion. That said tho☝, there are certain moves and certain bands best worn on the thighs but for this particular movement and band type, try wearing them near your ankles and feel more of that isolation! Think of stepping to the side with your entire leg & engaging your glutes and abductors to do so, not just thinking of the foot stepping to the side☝
