It's da (chaat) bomb. ⠀ ⠀ And those chaat bombs are so good. Pani puri, bhel puri, papdi chaat, I love that kinda stuff, and these little mounds of deliciousness were just that, delicious. From the small plates at Tamatanga [@tamatanga], the Amritsari Fish Fry was great, the Bang Bang Chicken was yummy but a little underwhelming, and the Sri Lankan Rolls were very meaty and flavourful, went great with the spicy berry chutney that they come with. ⠀ ⠀ Onto the mains - see my last post for a pic - the thali comes with a broad selection of stuff: two veg dishes, daal, rice, naan, a veg snack, salad, poppadoms, chutney, and any curry of your choice (I went with the Keralan Lamb Curry). You get a lot of food! And it all tastes good. But it's those lamb chops that I'll be ordering next time. They're called "First-Class Lamb Chops" and they live up to the name, packed full of flavour, and perfectly juicy and tender. ⠀ ⠀ The restaurant itself is big and colourful with relaxed vibes. And all the meat is halal Heads up, the food is brought to your table as it's made so if you order everything at once, you might end up with your mains before your chaats/small plates etc. And finally, the mango lassi deserves a mention - it's super thick and it tastes amazing. ⠀ ⠀ Chaat bombs, first-class lamb chops and mango lassi. That's what I'll be ordering the next time I'm at Tamatanga. And, yeah, there will be a next time. ⠀ ⠀ #invite
