Nice day time fireworks at Cinderella Castle! • Fireworks = celebration, and today I am celebrating. Why am I celebrating? Well... HAVE YOU SEEN THE GONDALAS ! They are unwrapped; the gondolas are unwrapped!!! ***Swipe for photos of the gondolas*** • Alright so if you don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, here’s a quick briefing. Disney World will soon be opening (expected this fall) their new Skyliner system. This Disney Skyliner will transfer guests, via gondola, up in the air from Epcot to Hollywood Studios with some resorts also en route. Those resorts are the new Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach, and Pop Century sharing a stop with Art of Animation. There has been testing going on for the last few months with the gondolas covered up. And today is the first day we can see the gondolas in all their glory! • With the gondolas now uncovered, this brings hope that the Skyliner will be open earlier than its expected “Fall” estimate. Perhaps it may be open in time for Star Wars Land. Maybe even earlier in the summer! • There are tons of different Disney characters featured on the outside of these gondolas. The theming features a wide variety from Disney films to Pixar, Marvel, and even Disney attractions like The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. I think they look awesome!
