My grandmother is a panning queen!

It is done ! ✅ #lipserviceprojectpan . I have been wearing this tinted lip balm by #sleekmakeup in the shade Cherry Drop non stop this month and it is finally done. It was fairly old - it was my gym bag lipstick these past years- so I am not going to scrape the bottom of the tube. . I used it mainly on top of KVD Lolita which I am also trying my best to use up, to make it look juicier and less matte in this hot weather. . I enjoyed using this lip balm but I wouldn’t repurchase it because of the overwhelming scent (vanilla - nougat?), but that is just me, I am really sensitive to fragrances in general so from now on I really want to avoid buying any scented makeup as much as possible. Aside from that it was a lovely pink shade for Spring - Summer. . I will now be working on my old #chanel Boy Rouge Coco Shine (they have since reformulated it in the Rouge Coco Flash line), which is an easy to wear everyday nude type of tinted lip balm. I think it will be super comfortable for the summer time.

Let’s talk about 2 months progress...and brain surgery. I already talked about this on FB and on YT but a little over a month ago, I started getting dizzy...REALLY DIZZY. Like hold on to a railing cuz I might go down dizzy. Everyday became a new cocktail of symptoms, but basically, they revolved around dizziness, headaches, blurred vision and double vision. I finally went to my primary care physician last week. I figured I would be prescribed a pill and sent back to work for the afternoon. Turns out, 911 was called and I was rushed to my local hospital for a ct scan. From there, I was transported to Rush Hospital downtown. I had a cyst growing in the center of my brain. It was benign but it caused me a world of trouble. It was blocking the flow and reabsorption of the cerebrospinal fluid. All of my symptoms were caused by hydrocephalus. I went in to surgery last Friday morning and woke up feeling surprisingly good. Too bad I had a drainage tube sticking out of my head. The drs. wanted to see if my body could start reabsorbing the cerebrospinal fluid or if I needed a second surgery to put in a shunt for drainage. Of course, I needed a second surgery and so Wednesday night, I went back in to the OR. This surgery was a bit more invasive and I felt like I was slammed into a wall. Nonetheless, I was sent home Thursday night and I am trying to figure out how much I can push myself at home. I can’t wash my hair until Monday morning. It’s completely disgusting. My makeup use up is on hold right now. I am mostly trying to get my energy levels back up and catch up on some things around the house. Quality time with the kids is #1.
