//WORKSPACE⁣ ⁣ If you’ve migrated over here from Barnu, you’ll know how much I value keeping my spaces separate. In the BOG (aka brain-of-georgia) desk = work, and room = sleep. Having the two in one space is just a ‘no can do’ for BOG ⁣ ⁣ An old therapist of mine was the first person to introduce me to the art of keeping things separate. It only took me 4ish years to take her advice (oops..) but as of last night, I’m happy to announce that ULTIMATE SEPARATION OF SPACE HAS BEEN ACHIEVED! ⁣ ⁣ I had a lightbulb moment at 10pm and decided that it would be a great time to drag my desk and everything ‘work-y’ out into the living room ⁣ It may seem like a teeny tiny change, but I sweeaaarrr I’ve already seen an increase in my productivity ⁣ ⁣ How about you guys…do you like keeping your spaces separate? ‍♀️

Hi, my name is Mollie and I find getting photos of myself incredible awkward ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There’s something very uncomfortable about smiling into a phone on a tripod as it slowly counts down from 10 and then when it finally snaps the photo, you close your eyes ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But here’s the thing. No one really cares about seeing a photo of me and some people probably don’t like to hear that. To me, realising that was an incredibly freeing moment because I realised if I make a fool of myself on a live video, or an insta story, people aren’t going to care that much. So the next time you think you can’t possibly talk into a phone, or show the face behind the page, remember that ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I don’t mean people don’t care about what you do (because they do) or that this is me telling you that you no longer need to worry about how your operate your business. But if you have an off day and don’t write or talk as well as normal, it’s okay because people aren’t invested in how perfect everything is
