At times, I found myself physically full but my cells were sending hunger signals to my brain. This can be stressful to a disordered mind but its important to stay calm. You are recovering, you need far more food than the average person.

Your cells and body are fighting to build back full function, not just gain weight. Your body is desperate, even to the extent that your digestion can’t keep up

There were days that I consumed over 6000 calories, still felt starving and sometimes didn't gain any weight. This shows the incredible amount of repair your insides have to go through and how dangerous being so malnourished is.

Not everyone goes through this but It does stop. You just have to trust it, eat and allow your body time to repair. Eat dense foods, maintain a health weight. Hunger signals will normalise as your mind and body recover.
