(You’re probably starting to catch the trend) We live in an over caffeinated, over worked country, so a lot of us have high levels of adrenal and cortisone hormones. I’ve added in yoga once a week, but I want to start meditating more. I’ve heard great things from the apps, Headspace and Calm.
4️⃣ Include healthy fats. Including healthy natural fats in your diet and avoiding unhealthy trans fats can help reduce insulin resistance and stimulate the production of hormones that help control appetite.
5️⃣ Eat eggs not just egg whites Eggs are extremely nutritious and may help reduce insulin resistance, suppress your appetite and make you feel full. (Positive effects on hormones seem to occur when people eat both the egg yolk and egg whites. A study found that eating whole eggs as part of a low-carb diet increased insulin sensitivity and improved several heart health markers more than a low-carb diet that included only egg whites)

I spent years thinking my metabolism was damaged, broken and unfixable. Thinking 1200 calories and a life of salad and rice cakes was the life for me. Heck no could I eat ice cream whenever I felt like it (like I can now).
