I am so excited that @mapleleaffoods and @madegoodfoods partnered and made these adorable, healthy snack boxes that I can throw in a lunchbox - quick and easy during busy mornings - and not feel guilty about it one little bit! We love that Made Good makes yummy snacks that have full servings of veggies and taste like actual snacks! THE BEST! Not to mention they are vegan, gf, and safe from the 8 most common allergens (super safe to bring to school.) Have you tried them yet!? #ad #whatsyourflavor #madegood #hiddenveggies
My Husband: The Natural Nurturer
The first time I noticed that I had a lot to learn from my husband about nurturing was when our first was becoming a toddler. At this time, I only had a background in ECE and we were taught that if a child was upset about not getting their way, then we empathize but we don’t offer physical affection. I have since drastically changed my feelings on this topic and this moment was pivotal in that change. I tried to explain this ECE theory around tantrums to my husband one day, with all my technical language and research backed BS. He looked at me like I had seven heads and said “I don’t care what any book says! If my child wants to be held, I’m going to hold him.” I realized very quickly that he knows way more intuitively about nurturing than I do. His decisions are based solely on his love for his child. Like he said, he doesn’t care what the book says, he’s going to do what his heart tells him to do. He trusts his own instincts because his parents trusted theirs and also allowed him the freedom to
trust his own.

Can I get an amen, ♀️sister friend?
When we are overtaken by humanness, we see obstacles at face value.... like something in our way.
An annoyance, roadblock, deterrent, trigger... But this is so human to think that what we experience is somehow at random.
Stop devaluing yourself my love. There are no accidents, coincidences, or mistakes.
Every tough time, every kitchen melt down, every perceived failure is the Universe trying to communicate with you.
Have you ever stopped to think that perhaps the guy leaving was sparing you from a lifetime of pain? Or that the job you didn’t get was another reminder to follow the nudge deep down saying “make your own way.” But if you’re too attached to the experience, to the pain of it all, you can’t learn the lesson.
If you’re too entrenched in the emotions, you aren’t available to observe the real reason, purpose, message to be had.
Our ability to thrive in this experience is directly correlated to our willingness to open, observe, and integrate.
But the choice is yours sweet babe.
You can continue to play the ego’s victim song of “why me”, “I’m doomed”, “I’m a failure.” Or you can shape up, snap back into your soul’s intelligence, laugh at the humanness of it all, and accept the adventure.
It can kill you or make you stronger.
It can be your worst enemy or your best friend.
It can be your biggest trauma, struggle, suffering, obstacle.
Or it gets to be your greatest teacher, your soul’s body guard, your salvation, the thing that cracks you open so you can *finally* really see what it’s all about. What do you choose?
Losing weight doesn’t cure a negative body image. I’ve been 90lbs, 100lbs and 145lbs. But that nagging voice is always there, no matter my size. I think now’s a good time to start loving ourselves exactly as we are andthe world that is constantly telling us not to. Also, I have cellulite and I’m not even going to photoshop it out. So there

she’s 1 now, but doesn’t suddenly stop needing milk or comfort. And to be perfectly honest, nursing a toddler is my favorite. They are so BUSY and ornery and communicate a lot with whines & screams (see today’s stories ) and these brief moments in our day serve as a reconnection. It’s short and sweet and though there is the occasional toe shoved in my mouth or finger up my nose, these are the moments I most look forward to with her.
Meet 28 year old Jenay.
She is a badass entrepreneur who teaches women tools to heal their mindset and grow their emotional intelligence to become fully empowered in their lives so that they can become the absolute BEST, happiest version of themselvese.
She is living her passion and purpose. Full of tenacity and adventure, she is wildly obsessed with learning and experiencing herself at deeper and deeper levels from plant medicine, 10 day silent meditations, to this weekend’s 4 day immersion with @tonyrobbins.
She knows what she wants and goes after it! She invests freely in herself knowing that ease, joy, and abundance is her right.
She has called in an incredible tribe of soul sisters and has tons of eager babes lining up to work with her.
Sounds pretty perfect right?
Well, meet 21 year old Jenay.
Depressed. Anxiety-ridden. Floundering. Trying to make everyone else happy yet failing at that too.
She was addicted to soda, tv, and a victim mentality. She jumped from job to job after being fired bc she was uncontrollably reactive.
She meant well, but had no clue how to become this happy, successful, fulfilled, woman that she dreamed.
But she was smart enough to know that she was meant for more, and driven enough to never give up.
I look back at this young girl and I cry for her. The pain she felt was insurmountable.
BUT now I am SO GRATEFUL for those tough times that beat me down. I am grateful for the nay sayers, the panic attacks, the experiences that put me on my ass over and over again.
Why?
Because without it, I would never have gotten to a point of CERTAINTY that I was done believing my own bullshit.
I stepped the f up and started takin action in my life.
I dove into development of myself. I met my soul. I studied from the greats, I bought all the courses and books. But most importantly I IMPLEMENTED my learnings to heal the traumas, limiting beliefs, and patterns holding me back.
And ONLY when I valued myself enough to invest every penny I had into ME, did my life begin to shift in glorious ways.
I share this with you not for pity or applause, but to empower you on your journey.
You are worth it.
Run into the fear. Trust me.
