Joined by local #villagers and #monastics, the nuns of #Drukpa #DrilburiNunnery have performed #Ganachakra offerings and #Boomskhor prayers in the picturesque area of #TinanValley in #HimachalPradesh, India. The special prayers were dedicated to peace, abundance of crops, health, and prosperity. Participants carried the #KangyurPothi texts (pechas) as they traveled through the valley to bless #Phuktal, #Teeling, #Khinang, and #Purad villages. This region, also known as #Garsha, is considered a "#LandofDakinis" that is full of #spiritual treasures.

Taken when I lived as a Hindu monk at his cloistered monastery on the garden island of Kauai, Hawaii (circa 2001). Pictured in the photo as well is Rishi Thondunathan @thondunathan a fellow monastic. Praznicul a început cu slujba Privegherii din seara zilei de 15 mai și a continuat a doua zi cu Sfânta Liturghie oficiată de Înaltpreasfinţitul Părinte Pimen. Moaștele cuvioșilor Sila, Paisie și Natan au fost descoperite în anul 1990, când s-a început refacerea Schitului, în pronaosul vechii biserici și proclamarea solemnă a canonizării a avut loc în 14 mai 2017. *EN: On May 15-16, 2019, Sihăstria Putnei Monastery celebrated its patronal feast dedicated to Saints Silas, Paisios, and Nathan.
