Something a bit different today, #ophiopogon planiscapus, aka black mondo grass. The inky, liquorice coloured strappy foliage is quite unique and I was thrilled to get this from a friend last week. I have a longstanding love of the mosses and grasses of Japanese gardens. I saw a lovely open terrarium last week that was made with moss and this black beauty.
