@theoldbartander Last week got fruit and ingredients parcel from South Africa. My favorite fruit from the parcel is Kiwano Melon. It’s looks like Dragon fruit and from inside like Passion fruit but taste like mix of Melon and Cucumber. Used few drops of Blue Çuracao for sweetness and Lemongrass syrup and Fresh Mint to give summer feeling to the cocktail Kiwano Melon-Lemongrass Syrup-Blue Çuracao-Mint-Lime Juice-Egg White-Veermaster Gin.

Experimentum Series Edition 2y01: Tokyo
Inspired by the culinary variety of Japan, the first release in the Experimentum Series features our 47 classic ingredients in combination with sanshō (Zanthoxylum piperitum) and Kobe beef fat, which we add to the distillate using what's known as a “fat wash” process before removing it again. The tandem of the citrusy, often intoxicating spice for which sanshō is known and the silky-smooth texture of Kobe beef results in an aromatic spectrum from the land of the rising sun that's equal parts remarkable and incomparable. Sorry, it’s clearly not for the veggies out there – but it makes a great Red Snapper!

The Vesper Cocktail

The Vesper, also known as the Vesper Martini, was made famous by James Bond. The cocktailbest known for being ordered “shaken not stirred” was invented by none other than Bond author Ian Fleming. The Vesper first appeared in his book “Casino Royale,” ♠️♥️♦️♣️which was published in 1953 and gets its name from fictional double agent Vesper Lynd.
When Bond orders the Vesper, it comes with strict instructions that must be followed by any who make it: “Three measures of Gordon’s, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it’s ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel. Got it?” While some might claim that shaking will “bruise the gin” or have an adverse effect on the drink, when making a Vesper, it’s best to follow the original instructions.

2.5 cl Berry Tonic Syrup (@absurttonic )
1 Dash of Grapefruit Bitters (@kjaercompany )
Stir with plenty ice
Strain into a chilled coupe, over a cube
Garnish with a dehydrated grapefruit wheel
Serve on a bed of rose leafs
