Hello loves! I figured I’d finally post an unboxing post of our #FrostandFairytales box! Putting this box together was so much fun! It was a bit delayed and for that I apologize. The design for the pin was originally meant to be a sticker but once I saw all the excitement for the box, I knew I had to make it in to a pin. Morozko - the winter king ❄️ Some days ago I finished reading the Winternight Trilogy by @arden_katherine and this is how I imagined Morozko to look like. I really love these books. It's a beautiful fairytale set in medieval Russia. We call such women so, because we have no other name.” _____________________________________________ The Girl in the Tower - 4 stars ✨ _____________________________________________ Let me just start of by saying that I would give my life for Solovey. I love him so much and I think I know how this trilogy is going to end and I don’t think I’ll be able to handle it! . This book felt different than The Bear and the Nightingale in a way and yet it still felt familiar. I still love the characters and the setting so much! I love Vasya as the main protagonist and root for her the entire read! Solovey and her are such a beautiful pair and I love the connection they have! I also enjoy the dynamics between her and her siblings and love how they think and feel about one another. Katherine Arden just has a way of writing characters and making them feel so real and human. She also does such a wonderful job at writing about Russian folklore and making it her own. . Now, the romance I obviously ship Vasya and Morozko and enjoy all their scenes together! However, I do feel like there is something missing. I feel like there’s something left to be desired there and I’m hoping that in the last book, I finally get that something! . I can’t wait to read the last book and finally find out how this story ends!
