✨Mummy and me ✨Today is my lovely mum’s birthday, and I just want to take this time to do a shoutout to my hero. She’s wonderful and I don’t know how I got so lucky to have her as my mum. She brought up my sister and I pretty much on her own, and now I know how hard that is. Bringing up children is hard, especially on your own, and particularly with a kid like me who, in her words “cried every single day for 12 years” and then at least once a week after that! (NIGHTMARE CHILD!). I’m not saying it just because she’s my mum, she really is an amazing person. The most supportive woman. She is there for me no matter what’s going on, without judging. Just love. She’s my best friend (her and Joshua) and I love her more than anything. Though the only thing better than her being my mum, is her being my wonderful son’s granny. They are like two peas in a pod. Thankfully she lives about 2 minutes walk away (planned that well didn’t I?! poor mum!) so Joshua walks to see her all the time, whenever he likes. Happy Saturday friends!How is everyone’s weekend going so far? We had a lovely evening last night with friends. You can’t beat a cosy movie night with buddies on a Friday night can you? It’s been a pretty lazy week for me, after quite a stressful time over Easter with deadlines. I think the tiredness had caught up with me as I’ve just been so drained. Though I’ve been trying to make up for the lost sleep with naps, and it has been DIVINE! There’s nothing better than cosying up at home and having a good sleep. Thank you @brandon_garciaok for everything throughout these stressful YEARS. And of course my little motivators who are the biggest reason I’ve continued to pursue a lengthy education. I hope they will understand one day why I worked so hard, and they will see how contributing time and energy to support people in the community will result in a meaningful life.
