For as long as I can remember, all I ever wanted to be was a Mummy. I always dreamt of having these little humans, that would make me laugh & cry in equal measure. That I could love & care for unconditionally for the rest of my life. I feel so incredibly blessed to have 4 beautiful daughters, that have made my dreams come true. Mothers Day however, is always bitter sweet for me. I get showered with hugs & kisses from each of my girls. I love how they enjoy showing me how much they love me, which lets face it, always turns into a who loves mummy more war! but it still melts my heart all the same. It is also a reminder that my beautiful mum is no longer here. I'd give anything to take her a bunch of flowers & make her a coffee today. To tell her how much she means to me, & thank her for all that she has done for me over the years. She was & still is my inspiration. Life didn't go her way a lot of the time but she had the strength & determination to see it through, right until she took her last breath. I am so incredibly lucky to have had her as my mum & I know in my heart that she continues through my girls. I’ve spent the last 3 years hating this day and struggling through the lead up to it. But this year I’m so much more at peace. I’m so thankful for my little princess for making me a Mum and giving my life purpose. You have filled my life with so much happiness in such a short time and given a whole new meaning to life. I miss my Mum so much. Now knowing the love a Mum has for her daughter is so special. I know she love me as much as I love you Ember and I know she loves you that much too.
